Process

How It's Made — RockSolid Innovations

Step 01

Design.

We start by finding a real problem — a clip that doesn't fit, a mount that wobbles, a part that doesn't exist. We model in CAD, iterating until tolerances are tight and the design is genuinely original.

If something already exists on Thingiverse or Printables, we don't sell it. We improve it until it becomes a different product entirely.

Step 02

Print.

We print on-demand in our studio in Ireland. Every product is printed in the right material for its job — PETG for water resistance, ASA for UV durability, reinforced blends for impact.

We dial in layer height, infill density, and wall thickness per product. Print time for our Lily Pipe Holder: 2 hours 15 minutes. We don't rush it.

Step 03

Test & Ship.

Every piece is tested by hand before it leaves the studio. We check the fit, the clamp force, the surface finish. If it doesn't pass, we re-print it.

We pack in recycled cardboard — no plastic fillers. Then it ships via An Post or DPD, tracked, straight to your door.

Materials we use

The right material for the job.

PETG

Water-resistant, flexible, and strong. Our go-to for aquarium accessories. Won't crack on glass.

ASA

True UV and weather resistance. For garden gear that needs to survive outdoors for years, not months.

Reinforced Blends

Carbon-fibre or glass-fibre reinforced for workshop tools that take impact and load.
